Registration

Q: Where can I register for an account?
A: When you are in our website home page, just click the highlighted item below.

Q: I got an error when submitting my registration form. Why did it happen?
A: Possible because you didn’t submit the valid values for registration fields.

  • For username, only use alphanumeric characters, and it should count 4-12 characters.
  • For password, it should be the same when you retype it.
  • For in-game nickname (IGN), only use alphanumeric characters, and it should count 4-12 characters.
  • For email, please use a valid email address, as it will affect your registration later on.

Q: I submitted my registration form, and tried to login into the game. Why can’t I login?
A: It’s because you didn’t verify your account from the email address you used for registration. For you to be able to login, please verify your account using the link our email provided to your valid email address.

Q: I didn’t receive a verification email, what should I do?
A: Verification email doesn’t send in an instant after you submit your registration form. Please wait for at least 5 minutes for it. If you still didn’t receive a verification email, please send an inquiry via message to our Facebook Page.

Client Execution

Q: Is there any instructions on how to download and setup O2Jam V3?
A: Yes, there is one, in video form. You can click the link to watch the tutorial. If you dislike watching a tutorial, you can read the following Q and A below.

Q: Where can I download the client and song packs?
A: When you are in our website home page, just click the highlighted item below.

Q: I’m in the downloads page now, what should I download first?
A: Download our client first, and choose from one of our download links.

Q: My antivirus detects the client as malware. Does it really contain malware? What to do?
A: Worry not, our client is 100% safe from malware, and the antivirus detection is false positive, meaning, it only detects the client as a virus, but our client is harmless, as it will not do anything bad to your computer.

Q: My antivirus blocks the client after downloading. What to do?
A: Before downloading, please make sure your antivirus is disabled for a moment, then download and install our client. For instructions on disabling antivirus for a moment, please see your antivirus website for it.

Q: I installed the game, but it doesn’t work. Any fix for this?
A: If you got error before entering the game, you should reinstall the game with administrative privilege, and add the installation directory (Default is C:\Program Files (x86)\V3-Games\O2Jam\) as an exception to your antivirus. For instructions on adding exception to your antivirus, please see your antivirus website for it.

Q: I opened the patcher, but it says “Failed to communicate to server”. What to do?
A: Please run the patcher with administrative privilege. If it still doesn’t work, please send an inquiry via message to our Facebook Page.

Q: Now I am on the small window, and it says, Downloading (x/y), what is going on?
A: You are now on our launcher. It downloads the missing songs from your installed client. If you wish not to download the songs, and want that glorious one song available from the client itself, please click the “Force Start” button to proceed to login screen.

Songs

Q: When I first entered the game, I can’t select the songs. How I can select those songs?
A: Go to our downloads page, and download songs. Choose one of the options below.

  • If you prefer downloading all songs at once, or if your internet connection permits you to download large files, you can choose Full Songs Package. Use one of our links to download.
  • If you prefer downloading our songs part by part, or if your internet connection is too slow to download large files, you can choose Songs Packages. Use one of our links to view and download.
  • If you prefer download songs one by one, you can choose Individual Songs. Use one of our links to view and download.

Q: How can I insert the songs into the game?
A: After downloading the song packs, please open the song pack and point the extraction to O2Jam v3 installation folder. (Default is C:\Program Files (x86)\V3-Games\O2Jam). Make sure that the client is closed before doing this.

Q: I can’t see the downloaded songs in the list? What to do?
A: It’s possible that your client isn’t properly patched. To fix the issue, download our manual patch, also available in downloads page, and choose one of our links! To use, just like opening song packs, point the extraction to O2Jam v3 installation folder. (Default is C:\Program Files (x86)\V3-Games\O2Jam). Make sure that the client is closed before doing this.
